I ordered this keyboard from Meckeys and the delivery was very fast. The Keyboard arrived in well packaged manner and it has been a joy typing on the Duchy one 2 SF. The package contained a few extra key caps including an extra space bar.
The USB cable that comes along with the keyboard is of decent quality though not the best out there.

My very first mechanical keyboard and it’s just so good to type on. Build quality is solid and the keypresses have a very satsifying click to them( I’ve got the MX Blues). It doesn’t come with any bundled in software which means that RGB control and macro assignment is all done through the keyboard itself. It takes a bit of time and practice to learn and use it but it’s much better than the half baked software solutions of other manufacturers(in my opinion). Regarding aftermarket customizability, you can fit standard sets of keycaps(right shift, right alt and right function keys are 1u smaller than standard) but there are no third party cases available so you’ll have to get something custom made if you really want it. That said, the stock case is okay in terms of quality and can get dirty pretty easily, so keep it clean!!

My entry into Mechanical Keyboard that I won’t regret.

For someone who codes on a daily basis for a living, I couldn’t have gotten a better keyboard. Compact, ergonomic and backlit with just the necessary keys, this keyboard is a boon. The build quality is solid and so are the keycaps. Ducky needs no introduction. Macros are powerful. The included dust cover is handy, especially in Indian conditions (saves ne about 10 minutes of cleaning time daily). Detachable USB C means it is easy to carry around and plug and play without much cable clutter.
I got the Cherry MX blue switches (yeah I am one of those guys :p) and typing on it has been a really satisfying experience. My typing speed has increased considerably. Huge thanks to Meckeys for having this keyboard at close to US pricing. Really amazing service.

I’ve been using the MX Blue Switch variant for almost a year now and it’s a spectacular keyboard. The noise is makes is really satisfying but it can annoy others if you’re typing really fast in a low noise area. A solid starter keyboard!

If you are in the market for your first mechanical keyboard and confused like I was. Ducky One 2 SF will make up for any doubts that you might have. The compact design of a 65% keyboard is exactly similar to a 14-inch laptop that you might own and you won’t be missing any function keys that’s for sure. I even wrote an extensive review of the one I bought while working with using Linux – https://mixstersite.wordpress.com/2021/01/01/meckeys-ducky-one-2-sf-linux-review-after-a-month/

The keyboard itself is great, I ordered the brown switch, the only problem is that 40-50% of the keycap stems were cracked, I found out when I was installing O-rings. It’s not a huge issue but an issue nonetheless.

This is my first Ducky product and I have to say that it was an awesome decision. The 65% layout is the perfect necessity for my productivity. Dedicated arrow keys and numbers are just what i needed. Make is solid with great RGB, instructions on the leaflet is easy with good hardware usability. No software yet is the only downside. Thanks to Meckeys again for the great support to this community.
