Decent budget starter 60%. It has a north-facing PCB and is compatible with 5-pin switches. Running it with Boba Silent U4 tactiles and Ducky Bon Voyage keycaps.

    Cons:
    – The stabilizers come pre-lubed, but inconsistently — in my case, spacebar and backspace are particularly bad.
    – The software is bad. I’m using Pixeltris’ version instead.
    – Comes with a terrible keycap puller that will damage your keycaps. The switch puller isn’t great, but works fine so far.

Good for people who are building their first keyboard. There are a few drawbacks with the keyboard such as the stabilizers are not lubed well and my rubber pads under the keyboard were not the same height causing rattle.

Pretty much the best budget 60% kit. If you’re new to making custom kbs, this is a no brainer. Comes with pre-lubed stabs, which sounds quite nice tbh.
I used gateron yellows which are basically the best linears.
Also dont use the keycap puller that comes with this kit, its garbage and made some scratches on my keycaps.

Overall opinion: Really nice budget kb kit, best for people new to this hobby.

Best option for 60%. I bought it for it’s PCB and Plate, using it in wooden case with Jade Box switches. Good quality product in budget with quick delivery and good packaging.

This is a very good option for beginners looking to get into the mechanical keyboard hobby. The stabilizers come pre-lubed, my spacebar is pretty well lubed whereas the backspace could be better. A small issue I faced was that one screw on the plate wasn’t placed correctly, which obstructed two switches from being mounted easily. But overall, its a great budget kit, and I would 100% recommend this to anyone.

I’m using this kit with Gateron red switches.

Awesome kit for absolute beginners like me.
The stabs came pre-lubed but the lube job was pretty messy so I re-did them. I only clipped and lubed the stabs without doing fancy mods like the holee mod, epsy mod, etc. but they sound pretty good considering the price of the kit. The wire of the stabs could do some balancing but that is if you’re an absolute perfectionist.
The PCB has north-facing LEDs which could cause interference with Cherry profile keycaps, so keep that in mind while shopping for the keycaps. The hotswap compatibility is very convenient as it fits the majority of switches, be it 5-pin or 3-pin. The RGB is also very flashy if that’s something you’re concerned about.
Other than the fact that the software for this board is pretty shitty, the kit is an absolute value for money and I would recommend it to anyone falling into the expensive rabbit hole that is the world of custom mech boards.
Finally, I would like to attach this video of a sound test I did with this board for reference. Feel free to enquire about the board in the comments.

A very good beginner board but has its flaws. the usb C port is very tightly tucked into the case and being slightly careless while disassembling the case can rip it off. factory lubing is terrrible too. case sounds hollow but that can be modded. overall a decent first board if you want to dabble your toes into the custom keeb hobby
